Our client is a market leader in the provision of multicategory apparel, who are recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain individual to join their growing team. Your role will be to expedite the timely delivery of all UK purchases, value add requirements and international production to service business needs and strategy.You will be resilient, someone who excels at accountability and working across multiple projects.Group Supply Chain ExpeditorThe Job OutlineExpediting all Group purchases to achieve OTIF deliveryEnsure supplier updates are received on timeProactively monitor production datesUpdating stakeholders on production and shipment dates during review meetingsEnsure the system reflects accurate delivery informationBenchmarking shipment rates and selecting the right forwarderApproval of shipments after checking with the necessary stakeholdersChasing freight documents where applicableEstablish methods to consolidate freightMaintain transition tracker dates for both sampling and production dates, expediting where necessary and highlighting any concernsPerformance tracking of supplier against expected and achieved delivery datesSupporting any/all Procurement and/or Technical Department related administrative tasks.Highlight any problems to the applicable stakeholdersReporting to the Group Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, this role does offer hybrid working after probation period.Group Supply Chain ExpeditorThe Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will be degree educated.Min. 2-3 years experience within a similar role ie. specialism in supply chain, production, procurement, freight or logistics.Familiarity with fashion/ apparel or textiles industry would be desirableSelf-motivated, tenacious and performance driven.Analytically minded, accurate and attentive to detail.Able to work and complete projects independently.Experience in stakeholder management.IT proficiency, ie.
