Working for an established firm of chartered surveyors, you will join the building consultancy team and in return, they will assist you through the APC process to become a fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).You will work with commercial properties, mostly industrial, but also offices and retail properties too.On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with senior staff as part of your development and take responsibility for:- Building Surveys and Due Diligence- Dilapidations advice- Defect analysis- Refurbishment advice and management- Schedule of Conditions- Fire Insurance Assessment (Reinstatement) Valuations- Energy Performance Certification- Party Wall mattersTo be suitable, you must have an RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying and be keen to undertake the APC process to become a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
