Job Description

The Recruitment GroupGoods In Controller - £24,749 + Attendance Allowance - Permanent - Aston, BirminghamMonday - Friday - 6am - 2pm (Morning), 2pm - 10pm (Evening)The Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Goods In Controller working for a Cider making and bottling company based in Aston, Birmingham.The key objective is to hold a strong Goods In background within a warehouse/manufacturing environment.Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure all goods entering site are signed for and accounted for.
  • Making sure all deliveries have been issued with a PO number.
  • Arrange pallet ready for deliveries.
  • Raise PO numbers onto the internal system.
  • Ensuring all deliveries leaving the shop floor have the correct products in and are ready to be delivered.
  • Conducting monthly stock counts.
  • Responsible for stock adjustments.
  • Ensuring all materials meet the agreed specification reporting any defects to the compliance team.
  • Overseeing the Goods In/Yard team and ensuring the cleanliness of the yard and warehouse is kept up to company standards.
The Candidate
  • Previous experience working as a Goods In Controller or equivalent.
  • A strong warehouse/manufacturing background.
  • Able to work shifts which include 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm.
  • Hold a UK drivers license and can commute to Aston, Birmingham.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Counterbalance license is desirable.

  • Overtime available - Paid at 1.5x hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 hours.
