Job Description

Role: Global Project ManagerLocation: Europe (Remote with Travel)Altum Consulting are excited to work with a market leading, global medical manufacturing business as they continue to transform their organisation and build on a new operating model that leverages best in class technology.The Global Project Manager will be responsible for expanding out their premium product line across wider geographies. This will involve dealing with executives across many areas of the business, implementing the technology needed for this expansion, andcrucially increasing the expertise and maturity of the wider project team. As such, the influence of this role will be vast!Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Delivering end to end projects in the interest of expanding the clients premium product line.
  • Liase cross functionally with all aspects of the business, including finance, IT, marketing, HR etc.
  • Introducing and maintaining a robust project governance structure.
  • Documenting project files on collaboration platforms such as Teams and SharePoint.
  • Establishing and coordinating the communication plan to ensure effective information flow among stakeholders.
  • Coordinating change impact assessments to evaluate the effects of project implementation.
  • Driving the fit-gap analysis and facilitating the creation of process maps to identify areas for improvement.
  • Managing the entire diligence and integration planning processes, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and global/local teams to prioritize workstreams, identify risks, and implement effective change management strategies for a seamlesstransition.
Candidate Specification
  • Must have used at least one project management tool.
  • Deep understanding of and ability to build project delivery frameworks and methodologies, with an aim to build an internal project management centre of excellence.
  • Ability to deliver end-to-end, cross functional international projects
  • Cross-cultural working experience in Europe, Asia and in the USA related to technology transformation.
  • Experience with MS Power PPM is preferred but not required.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Fluency in English and one other Central or Eastern European language (preferred).
  • Time management, prioritisation, and task management.
  • Great Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills when working with senior leaders and across teams.
  • Ophthalmic lens product development process/project experience preferred.
Travelling is required at least 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally. Occasionally, more travel may be required based on business needs.Interviews are taking place on an ongoing basis. If this sounds like you, get in touch now!
