A global automotive supplier require a GL Accountant to work as part of a wider finance function, this will be a varied role covering aspects of financial and statutory accounts preparation. The ideal candidate will be big four trained and would of spent some time in industry since then. Commutable from: Birmingham, Redditch, Solihull, Coventry, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Hinckley, LeicesterPackage: £ 40,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. + Pension + Free Parking Suitable for: Management Accountant, Assistant Financial Controller, Accountant, Finance AnalystThe Role Reporting into the Finance Manager Europe you will have the following responsibilities: -Month end activities and month end journal activities for assigned entities. -Forecasting on a monthly basis with detailed forecast at cost centre level. -All balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.-Management of all intercompany loans and intercompany reconciliation. -Financial reporting to group.-Monthly bank reconciliations. -Improving controls and be SOX compliant. The Person Educated to ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified you will have the following experience:-Preferably trained and qualified through the big four (PwC, Deloitte, EY and KPMG).-Dealing with statutory accounts.-Experience of month end with a process orientated approach.
