Job Description

COMPANY: IMG / Global ResponseSALARY: £18,750 - £24,000 per annum based on experience [+ benefits]HOURS: Various shift patterns available - days and nightsLOCATION: Remote or Hybrid options availableIMG - Global Response provides 24/7 assistance to policy holders and corporate clients all around the world. This includes medical assistance and devices, roadside assistance, claims handling services but to name a few.Our aim is to be there for our customers, in routine times and the worst times. This is a fast paced environment with no case ever the same.What does the job involveYou will be providing help to insured clients who suffer injury or illness whilst overseas or require roadside assistance. You will assist with the coordination of medical care, the handling of a loss or their return home.You must be able to work under pressure, were very busy so youll take high volume of varied customer calls every day. You will utilise your customer service skills to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, acting in a professionalmanner at all times.Main Duties:

  • To empathetically deal with enquiries from patients and their relatives on case related matters in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
  • To ensure that any assistance given, and costs incurred are provided for within the terms and conditions of the insurance policy with a focus on cost containment
  • To be fully familiar with the case management systemsand to ensure that all information obtained during an assistance caseor pre-authorisationcaseis properly documented on these
  • To be familiar withIMGsservice standards and to ensure that any assistance provided is done so in accordance with these
  • To demonstrateasense of urgencyat all times, being able toprioritisetasks in favor of customer satisfaction and adherence to internal protocols.
  • Toworkin close partnership with theMedicalDepartmentensuring appropriate medical care is provided to patients;assistingin obtainingrelevantmedicalinformationfrommedical providers; making arrangements with medical providers; and facilitatingauthorizations liaising with underwriters as needed
  • To manage and coordinate all operational and logistical matters relating to the movement and welfare of clientsTo conduct regular and ongoing reviews of current cases in order to ensure compliance with company procedures
