Job Description

***Required: A new Generator Engineer to work for my client***If youve got a background in maintaining and repairing generators then you could be exactly what theyre looking for.Interested Then read on...----Tell me more about the role...You will be primarily responsible for traveling regularly to different locations maintaining and repairing generators varying from 20kva to 1250kva and various other equipment within the clients range, providing onsite service to the customer.This is a field-based role covering the Midlands region, where youll be tasked with the following:- Liaising with clients and ensuring the jobs are completed to their satisfaction- Carrying out minor and major services to diesel engine generator sets at customer sites- Installation and disconnection of equipment on site. (synchronising where appropriate)The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.----What experience do I needMy client wants someone whos got a background in maintaining and repairing generators.Theyll also need you to have experience of fault-finding and working in a fast-paced environment.In addition, youll need the following:- A City & Guilds qualification in an engineering discipline- A 2391 qualification or certified- Good communication skills and work ethic- Recognised manufacturer training courses relevant to generatorsYoull also need to be the following:- Able to handle objections in a professional manner- Able to promote teamwork and co-operation at all times, both within individual depots and right across the entire company- Able to provide other engineers with technical support in relation to mechanical and electrical worksIf youve got all of that, then you could be perfect for this Generator Engineer role and wed love to see your CV.Please note: Youll need a full driving licence for this position.
