Job Description

Full Stack PHP DeveloperIn the everchanging world of modern technology, our HR software providing client is on the hunt for a brand new Software Support Agent to join their family in the Jewellery Quarter of Central Birmingham.Reporting to your Development Manager, your main objective will be to work alongside Product Management ensuring that features and bugs are addressed in a timely matter – working on both front and back end systems.Full Stack PHP Developer Responsibilities:

  • Writing clean and meaningful code with good documentation whilst collaborating with the development, predict and customer service teams.
  • Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during deployment.
  • Own and Update assigned JIRA cases whilst occasionally assisting the Junior Developers.
  • Keep up to date with trends and best practices whilst taking responsibility for your own training needs, discussing these with the Development Manager.
    • Full Stack PHP Developer Requirements:
  • PHP (5.x and 7.x) including Laravel.
  • Javascript and jQuery.
  • React JS or Vue JS.
  • MySQL (including knowledge on indexes and optimising queries).
  • HTML 5 and CSS.
  • Object-orientated programming.
  • API development and integrations.
  • Version control (Git preferred).
  • Package management such as Composer.
