Full-Stack Java Software Engineer - Learn AngularLocation: Birmingham city centreSalary: £25k - £35kWe have the pleasure of agreeing to be the sole recruitment partner for this IOT, Innovation and Workplace Management Technology company based in the Innovation hub near Aston University.6 years on, they continue to innovate the IOT enterprise software market having come up with a product suite that allows customers the opportunity to integrate them with their own business systems.The growth of the business has been exponential over the last 4 years, and now they are looking to add inspiring Java Software Engineers who have a passion for being a full-stack developer utilising Angular to their team.What Your Role Will Look Like:

  • Understanding requirements of new builds
  • Developing and building new software advancements and features
  • Developeirng new custom front-end user interfaces
  • The Development of APIs to support mobile and web
  • Passion for being technology agnostic for which might be better for new solutions
  • Constantly keen to innovate and improved processes and internal products and projects.
    • Experience Ideally Wanted:
  • Strong Core Java Coding background
  • Experience of Angular (but if you are a purely back-end developer you will be able to learn it on the job
  • Good experience of SQL and JDBC
  • Oracle Java Certification or similar (highly advantageous)
  • Experience of writing automated tests - highly desirable
  • Mathematical mindset
  • Software and Web application project experience
  • Worked ideally in a software environment or interest in
    • This role is to be based in Birmingham, so whilst you will work remotely, POST-COVID, you will be expected to be in the office some days.
