Fresh produce Trader | BirminghamAbout the company:-We are working with a leading fresh produce supplier who have a strong sustainability and environmental drive.This position has arisen due to excellent growth and is therefore a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years experience or someone looking to get into the commercial team of the industry.An individual who is keen to progress in the fresh produce industry and shows a hunger to learn is key. About the role:-A Fresh produce trader is responsible for the procurement and sales of produce in the most efficient way in order to fulfil customers orders and maintain continuity of supply within the guidelines given. As such they negotiate the most efficient cost pricesand arrange transportation to maximise profits and maintain market share.As a Fresh Produce Trader, it will be your job to initially manage the sales admin function but as you progress the trading role with our wholesale customers.The Ideal Candidate:-You may have just graduated, or have had a introduction to commodity / produce trading in your history.Language skills are advantageous.
