Job Description

Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UKs leading freight logistics companies who are actively seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their Birmingham location.The client offer have been established since 1995 and over the years have developed complete air, sea and road freight services to companies across the UK and Ireland. They pride themselves in being able to offer a tailored service to their customers toensure maximum retention.Logistics Coordinator Position Overview

  • Arranging collections with our own vehicle and third party hauliers,
  • Dealing with customers & suppliers
  • Creating manifests for Irish trailers and daily communication with the warehouse as well as dealing with any issues/complaints that arise throughout the day.
  • Assist where needed to help grow the service and is happy to pick up the phone and do some internal/external tele sales.
Logistics Coordinator Position Requirements
  • Overall experience in the market (Essential, preferably in the Irish groupage market)
  • Road: FULL/PART Load & Groupage
  • Experience in other trade lanes such as Ocean & Air (Desirable)
  • Commercially perceptive - Someone who is comfortable with completing some telesales on quiet days.
  • Capable of working on your own initiative
  • Must be comfortable on the phone dealing with customer complaints or queries
Logistics Coordinator Position Remuneration
  • Salary - £20K - £28K DOE
  • Monday to Friday
  • Circa Office Hours
  • Holiday Package
