They offer a good team environment and regular overtime opportunities are available at premium rates toboost potential earnings.To apply for the role, you must be a mechanically biased maintenance engineer/mechanical fitter with experience working within manufacturing environments. Applicants will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent. Engineers transferring from a medium/heavyor foundry industry sector will have a considerable advantage.You will be tasked with both reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a range of heavy production machinery. You will work on a wide variety of plant equipment; melting furnaces, strip casters, rolling mills, annealing furnaces, annealing/pickling lines,hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, compressors and water pumps.
