TERRITORY:London and HertfordshirePRODUCTS: Flow Cytometry equipmentCLIENTS: Research and Pharmaceutical labsAs an Application Specialist you will have the unique opportunity to apply your science background in a commercial environment and make a direct impact on business revenue.You will be responsible for training and supporting the customers to use a range of truly innovative flow cytometry instruments, reagents and consumables. The position requires you to be a well organised individual with good problem-solving, interpersonal skills and commercial flair.This role will be covering a territory including London and Hertfordshire. You will develop relationships with customers and key opinion leaders in academia, biotech, CROs/CMOs and pharmaceutical companies and as an effective communicator, you will present seminars, perform instrument demonstrations and provide support at trade fairs, congresses and symposia.Person Specification:- MSc or PhD degree in a life science subject and have a strong knowledge of Haematology/Immunology.- 3+ years of practical experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry, the design of antibody panels and good knowledge of cell sorting- Is confident with presenting 1-to-1 or to large groups, and has excellent written and communication skills- Self-motivated team player- Regular travel fits your lifestyle
