Job Description

We are looking for experienced florist to join our team at ASPEN FLORA Birmingham New Street Station. The new retail florist shop located inside the station will be opened 1 February 2024. Job starting date 1-7 February 2024Minimum 2 years of retail floristry experience. Applicants without floristry experience won’t be consideredMust have experience in all aspects of floristry including wedding and funeral workEssential Skills & Experience

  • Be able to work in a team and independently
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Solid understanding of colour combinations and flower combinations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Create and arrange floral designs for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate flowers and arrangements for their needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
  • Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and other floral supplies
  • Prepare and package flower arrangements for delivery and pick-up
  • We are located in 3 locations in Birmingham City Centre. Employee might be asked to work 1-2 days a week in our Moor St station or Digbeth locations if necessary
  • As part of the team you might be asked to work additional hours when needed at peak times such as Valentine’s day, Mother’s day and Christmas period Nov-Dec and holiday cover.
Work schedule: We will consider full-time and part-time applicants. Trading hours Mon-Friday 07:30-19:30; Saturdays 08:30-20:30; Sundays and public holidays 09:30-17:30Please send your CV to info aspenflora.com
