My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Flood Resilience Consultant to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based across the UK.This role is home based and covers sites across the Midlands.You will receive excellent in house training to specialise in Property Flood Resilience and Flood Mitigation.It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Hydrology, Civil or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood RiskAssessments, Flood Mitigation and Property Flood Resilience.Applicants are required to have a valid driving licence.It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience mentoring team members and managing Projects.This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers based across the UK to work on varied Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Mitigation and Property Flood Resilience for Homeowners, Businesses and Housing Developers.You will be based from home and visit sites across the Midlands to complete Property Flood Resilience Surveys. You may be required to attend team meetings occasionally.You will also be required to complete the following;-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.-Property Flood Resilience.-Inspect and assess flood risk assets.-Public Safety Risk Assessment.-Survey buildings and sites at risk of flooding and complete reports assessing resilience levels, drying and decontamination requirements.-On-site sampling.-Complete Post Installation Assessments and invoices for Clients, following Project completion.-Assist with auditing.-Promote the services of the Company.You will also have the opportunity to develop business opportunities and expand the team.This role comes offers a competitive salary, flexible working, substantial benefits package, training courses and career development.If this role is of interest to you or if you are searching for other roles relating to Hydrology/Flood Risk Assessment please do not hesitate to contact Jordanna Morris on / or email .
