Job Description

Fire Stopper / Fire Stopping EngineerPermanent VacanciesMidlands£32,000 - £36,000 + Company Van + BenefitsOur client is a leading contractor operating within the passive fire protection market, delivering fire door installation and fire compartmentation projects these include student accommodation within the private and public sector. Due to continued expansion,currently seeking 5 x Fire Stoppers / Fire Stopping Engineers to work on Commercial Projects across the MidlandsFire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Duties:We are looking for candidates with previous experience working on Fire stopping/Fire Door projects:

  • Install fire stopping to fire doors
  • Small to large penetrations
  • Use of ablative batts
  • Reading site plans
  • Working in flats/housing/care homes/commercial premises to include working in confined spaces
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer, company, and accreditations (FIRAS)
  • Consistently achieve agreed performance targets
  • Keep the Passive Fire Protection Supervisor up to date on progress or potential delays
  • Maintain cleanliness of provided vehicle
  • Adhere to the companys quality procedures in all aspects of the job
  • Act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirements
Fire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Experience:
  • NVQ level 2 in Passive Fire Protection preferred but not required
  • FIRAS card preferred but not required
  • Full driving license
  • Good communication skills
