Job Description

Trinity House Group is currently working with a highly successful, South Birmingham-based Group in order to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager. With activities across a number of businesses, this is a hugely impressive organisation with a range of opportunitiesfor career development in the future.The Financial Reporting Manager will play an important role within the Group Finance Function, with core activities including monthly reporting, annual accounts and technical accounting, combined with frequent project work, post-acquisition integration andprocess improvement.The Financial Reporting Manager will report directly to the Group FC and will have a key role in:

  • Consolidation of the group accounts, along with preparation of statutory accounts and audit lead.
  • Providing technical accounting support and advice to divisional finance teams.
  • Driving improvements in systems and processes.
  • Managing the financial reporting teams.
  • Reviewing the monthly submissions from divisional finance teams and resolving issues.
  • Delivery of the month end management accounts pack, including financial statements with insightful, commercially focused commentary and risks & opportunities analysis.
  • Draft monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the Board, banks and investors.
  • Working with the Finance Business Partners to deliver budgets and forecasts and provide reciprocal support.
For the position of Financial Reporting Manager we are looking for candidates who are/have:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience of IFRS
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Ideally candidates will have trained within an Accountancy Practice and be looking for their second move in industry.
