Job Description

Financial Reporting Accountant 12-month FTCBirminghamUp to £60,000 Altum Consulting are delighted to be partnering with a listed, global consumer business in their search for a new qualified financial reporting accountant to join their team on a 12-month fixed term basis. You will be integral in assisting with the day-to-dayoperations of the financial accounting and reporting team as well as assisting with an exciting integration project on an ad hoc basis.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in completing the UK&I group reporting monthly.
  • Communicate when required with key stakeholders with the UK business & Group to ensure all aspects of the accounts are complete.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and assist part qualified accountants with their balance sheet reporting.
  • Preparing ad-hoc reports analysis for internal and external stakeholders
  • Reconcile key integration control accounts to help ensure accuracy of transferred data to SAP.
Youll be/have:
  • Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Ideally from an Audit background in practice.
  • Experience with IFRS16 desirable.
  • Able to analyse and interpret large data sets from multiple sources in differing formats.
