Job Description

RM Recruit are working with a fantastic organisation who are on the lookout for a Financial Planning & Treasury Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a forward-thinking organisation where duties include:

  • Monitoring the daily cash movement
  • Calculate and monitor covenants, reporting headroom and variance to budget
  • Preparation of monthly cash flows
  • Journal preparation and posting to ensure accurate month end and statutory reporting.
  • Preparation of accurate information to lead to forecasts
  • Assist with updating the Financial Plan using Housing Brixx.
  • Assist with scenario testing to ensure the plan is robust and mitigations to ensure Trident maintains its covenants.
  • Assist the Business Partner with reports to support commentary for plan updates.
  • Delivering key financial information including forecasting to key personnel
  • Analysis of key information and reporting the same to senior stakeholders
  • Forecasting, planning and budgeting including liaising with project team members
  • Ensuring budgets and forecasts are accurately uploaded to financial ledger (SunAccounts)
  • Management of the Assets and Liabilities register.
As the ideal candidate, you will have strong interpersonal skills to enable effective liaison with internal and external clients. You will possess strong excel skills and experience in specialist finance software, including business performance and financialviability tools. You will be AAT Qualified / Part Qualified, however candidates who are qualified by experience will be considered. You will be confident in producing reports and financial information and analysis and working in a similar environment.Our client offers hybrid working whereby you will mostly be working from home with office presence required two or three times per week.
