Job Description

  • To ensure that the external reporting of the business is timely.
  • Consistent business messages are communicated to all stakeholders
Client DetailsMy client provides a service that operates across the West Midlands. Part of a consortium consisting of 16 local authorities including Shropshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire.Description Lead the statutory audit process. Ensure all external financial reporting completed within required timescales. Manage and develop a team of 2 Financial Accountants to ensure they deliver statutory and group reporting. Manage and develop the Transactional Accounting Team ensuring completeness of our financial records Acts in an advisory capacity to all levels of management on financial aspects. Represent the businesses interests in meetings with external companies and organisations.Profile
  • Accountancy / Management accountancy qualification with significant post qualification experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the business, with an ability to explain complex financial issues to a non-Finance audience.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.
Job Offer£400 - £500 per day 6 months
