Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting an industry leading organisation in Birmingham City Centre who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team, with an aim of supporting the company Financial Controller. The role will see a Finalist/Qualified Accountant take ownership of the monthly statutory accounts, engaging with the wider group finance team and challenging the businesss current processes to drive continuous improvement.The role will sit within a team who are responsible for Statutory Accounts, Analysis and Business Partnering with senior management and will offer an opportunity to develop the skill set needed to develop into an FC in the future. Due to the nature of the role, it will offer a wealth of hands on accounting exposure, whilst also providing exposure to strict reporting deadlines and interaction with Senior Stakeholders across the region.
