Job Description

Financial Accountant - AuditorMidlands BasedSalary to £50k, depending on experience, with strong benefitsWe are recruiting for a Financial Account to work for the auditing department of our Client - a significant Global insurance entityNo experience of insurance process is required. The role is focused on supporting the audit function of the Finance Division. The following key responsibilities form the main bulk of the role :-

  • Ensure the business internal governance and compliance controls are robust
  • Perform audit checks to verify internal governance
  • Help to ensure the business complies with SOX procedures
  • Liaise with various operational departments within the business to carry out audits and checks to ensure all internal and external governance requirements are met, and report accordingly
  • It is important the individual has the experience and skill base to have open dialogue with various leaders of the departments, and to coach and advise where necessary where improvements in process are required.
  • Core analytical and advanced Excel skills are a requirement
The role will report into the Birmingham office, and office attendance will be once a week, once you have built your experience and knowledge of how the business operates, and the key functions of the role.A minimum of 3 years audit experience is expected for this role.#auditing #audit #auditing roles #auditor jobs
