Job Description

Financial AccountantWe are recruiting for a Financial Accountant in the Birmingham area for our well-established Client. In this role, you will coordinate and manage the production and audit of annual service charge statements.As a Financial Accountant you will need to have/be:

  • Part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience of producing Service Charge statements is desirable, however full training will be provided
  • Experience of producing financial statements for internal or external customers
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and to tight deadlines
  • Good verbal, written and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills - with the ability to communicate at various levels

  • Pay rate: £18.83 per hour
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Working Hours: Full time 35 hours per week
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Duration: Contract - Until August 2021
    • Role of a Financial Accountant:
  • Produce service charge statements in line with their respective year ends
  • Liaise with External Auditors on service charge queries
  • Ensure that draft service charge statements are reviewed by scheme managers
  • Provide project support for a fixed assets project
  • Adhoc support in other areas as and when required
