I am currently supporting a UK PLC to recruit a strong Financial Accountant in an interim basis to support an on going IFRS 16 project. Working as part of the Financial Accounting team you will play a key role in helping the business to improve its processesin relation to IFRS 16 and ensure the balance sheet remains accurate in line with their lease agreements. Key Responsibilities: - Review existing leases and understand agreements - Review contract data and ensure the data is correct and compliant - Ensure compliance with company policies, Internal controls and control accounts - Ensure the Balance sheet is accurate in terms IFRS 16 and lease agreements. To be considered for this role you will be a qualified accountant available at short notice. You will have strong finance background and have the ability to understand and disseminate complex financial information. Experience of IFRS 16 would be an advantage,but more important is the ability to pick up accounting methodologies quickly and understand how to apply them.
