Job Description

greenwellgleeson is recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a leading Real Estate business based in Birmingham. This is a key day to day finance and commercial leadership role working on a substantial redevelopment project. This is a hybrid role that bridgesthe gap between day to day finance and comercial analysis.Main Responsibilities:

  • Main Finance point of contact for the Project Leadership Team in relation to commercial and finance matters
  • Act as a support to the Project Team and play a key role in the development of the overall strategic direction of the project
  • Responsible for driving positive change, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of the contractual and financial arrangements of the project and the broader business strategy
  • Own and manage the projects investment models/appraisals, including advising on key financial risks and opportunities
  • Ensure transparency of the projects commercial position, including tracking against budget
  • Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders including the Joint Venture Partners
The Person:
  • Fully qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years financial modelling experience
  • Experience of the Real Estate or Construction sector would be a distinct advantage
