Job Description

Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Plant Controller to join an fast paced Manufacturing Business based in the West Midlands

  • Responsible Controller for one plant and all related controlling tasks (reporting, analysis, forecasting, planning/budgeting)
  • prepare all relevant information for the senior management team to take the right decision
    • Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly reporting and analysis (Bridge, Cost-Price-Balance, Manufacturing Controlling, Material Controlling, Sales Controlling, Non-material savings, Capex, Cost Center).
  • Contribute to the monthly review meeting by providing data, analysis and comments.
  • Accurately and timely prepare the rolling and quarterly forecasts including analysis, validation and presentation.
  • Accurately and timely prepare the three years planning/budgeting including analysis, validation and presentation.
  • Calculate overhead rates, hourly rates and standard costs.
  • Support the preparation of Facton data sheets and review and check PERs as a project controller.
  • Support the preparation of Capex requests and prepare the economic justification of Capex requests.
  • Prepare make or buy decisions (financial impact).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Actively challenge the way things are being done and initiate and implement improvements.
  • Prepare additional reports and execute additional projects/activities as required by laws/regulations or as instructed by the company management.
    • The ideal candidate will be immediately available, come from a manufacturing background with strong process improvement, they y are looking for an immediate start and on offer is a day rate of up to £275 per day.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
