Job Description

Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a newly created Finance Manager role based in Birmingham City Centre.Reporting into the Head of Finance, duties of the role will include:

  • Supporting the Head of Finance with implementing financial controls & processes (operational and FP&A).
  • Deputising for the Head of Finance as required.
  • Mentoring and coaching two trainee accounts
  • Owning the production of monthly management accounts and associated analysis.
  • Financial modelling of pipeline (new) and currently live projects.
  • Maintain ledger discipline in accounts platform
  • Managing the weekly funding request processes.
Person Specification
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Self-starter
  • Naturally inquisitive
  • Efficient work habits (proficiency in Excel is essential)
  • Ability to operate on a sliding scale i.e. able to see the bigger picture but willing and able to drill down into the detail to understand issues
  • Takes ownership and responsibility to deliverables
  • Confident and able to constructively challenge stakeholders
