Job Description

Reed Accountancy have partnered with a public sector client in search of a interim Finance Manager. This is an immediate requirement from the client meaning candidates with a short or no notice period would be of high interest tothe client.The Role:

  • Responsible to Assistant Directorwith day to day management of the Clients Financial draw down process the FME has a key role in delivering on financial oversight and support for the clients 13 finance and estate teams.
  • Has a developed knowledge of all aspects of financial accounting and database reporting using the SYMPHONY MIS.
  • The ability to communicate and interpret requirements for colleagues within the context of the clients estate.
  • Responsible for routine financial planning in the delivery of estate services and adherence to the Corporate Plan and clientsannual Business Plans. This involves working closely withcolleagues, Service units and otherorganisations, networking with a cross section of organisations.

  • We seek an individual with excellent inter personal skills who is an experienced, personable and outgoing networker and influencer and is capable of operating with minimal direction.
  • Has a good understanding of the government environment, with demonstrable enthusiasm for the agenda.
  • Modern and forward thinking in outlook, an able presenter and competent in the use of IT.
  • Previous experience of working in Facilities Management across a multi-site portfolio is desirable.
    • This is a ongoing temporary assignment with the possibility of moving to permanent for the right candidate.Core hours- 37.5
