Job Description

The Company:A well-established company with over 350 years of history, is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join their team for a 3-month contract.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full financial operations of the business, including the production of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and accounts.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital, including monthly rolling forecasts.
  • Support in bids and tenders for long-term contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory financial and accounting requirements.
  • Lead and develop a finance team of four people.
The Ideal Candidate:An experienced Interim Financial Controller who possesses the following skills and attributes:
  • Qualified Accountant with a track record at the Financial Controller/Director level.
  • Strong knowledge of current accounting standards.
  • Comfortable with hands-on financial management and preparation of accounts.
  • Ability to serve as a key commercial advisor to the board.
  • Experience in dealing with banks and external advisors.
  • Expertise in using Excel, including pivots, chart production, index match, and lookup functions.
