Job Description

Robert Half is working with a large services business to recruit a Divisional Finance Director to look after one of their key UK divisions. The division is c£1billion in revenue, and the successful candidate will lead a large finance team reporting intothe Managing Director. You will also have a dotted reporting line into the Group CFO.The business is a global leader in their field and has diversified interests across a range of sectors. This division is based in the West Midlands, and the role is offered on a hybrid working basis with some travel required.Key Responsibilities:

  • Have full accountability of the financial and accounting operations
  • Drive the strategic and financial planning of the business, ensuring alignment with the overarching business plan.
  • Oversee all aspects of statutory financial reporting, tax, and treasury, upholding a strong financial control environment.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a proficient finance team, fostering a culture of pride and excellence.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Guide the business towards achieving its financial goals without compromising integrity.
What we are looking for
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent with significant PQE
  • Proven experience managing finances of a large business (or division)
  • Strong ability to business partner multiple senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience in enhancing controls and operational efficiency in a high-volume contracting environment.
  • A track record of driving change and transformation in challenging environments.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
