Job Description

Join us on the Journey... We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our expanding team based in Birmingham.In this roleyou will will provide financial support for key operational areas of the business. Youwill lead on the budget and forecasting process for these areas and have ownership of the monthend management accounts and analysis as required.What youll do...

  • Establish credibility with the areas of responsibility providing key financial support to maximise delivery of the Divisions ambitions
  • Deliver financial insight and analysis of costs and revenue to drive greater operational efficiency and improved profitability
  • Delivery of weekly and monthly KPI reporting to the senior leadership team.
  • Deliver forecasts and budgets that meet the overall needs of the business and effectively highlights commercial risks and opportunities on a timely basis
  • Manage the overall costs of key business functions ensuring financial control is maintained and financial processes are improved.
  • Delivery of monthly management accounts as part of month-end process.
  • Identify, pursue and deliver cost savings and efficiencies
What youll need
  • Qualified accountant with industry experience preferable
  • A genuine interest in what drives business performance with an appetite to learn about the business and form opinions. An enquiring and open mind.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable operating with senior management and Executive Directors.
  • The ability to think creatively, act proactively and project enthusiasm.
  • Comfortable playing both a hands on detailed role and having an ability to think and act more strategically.
  • Ability to develop and manage effective working relationships within the team and across the wider business
