A great opportunity for a Field Service Engineer with a Mechanical background to cover the West Midlands area has come up with an expanding and established engineering company.This is a home based role installing engineered products to manufacturing, engineering, logistics and retail sites. The salary is £28-30K + overtime and a company vehicle.Working to a service and maintenance schedule you will visit customer sites to carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repair and update the PPM system and job cards as jobs are completed. You will diagnose faults, order & install any required componentsor parts (ensuring costs are effectively managed) and recommend any additional work that may need to be carried out on site. You will manage client expectation and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met as tightly as possible. You will also be responsible for completingall internal and external paperwork relating to each job (this may include photographs of equipment when appropriate).You will need to be a time-served Mechanical Technician and ideally based around the Birmingham area. You will need to be able to work under your own initiative, prioritise activities & tasks effectively and deliver a high level of customer service. Experienceas a Field Service Engineer or Mechanical Fitter is ideal with a CSCS card, PSMA or IPAF an advantage.
