Field Engineer / Field Motor Engineer£35000 - £39000 Plus car plus befits and flexible remote working.West MidlandsWe are looking for a Field Engineer / Field Motor Engineer to join our reputable client, an established insurance business. As a Field Engineer / Field Motor Engineer, you will be responsible for attending two damaged cars to assess and verify the damage to them and the work that is required.This is a fully remote role, and we would ideally like you to be based around the Wolverhampton, Birmingham, or Coventry areas. The rate of pay is between £35,000 and £39,000, covering a 37 1/2 hour week with a great deal of control and personal flexibilityin your working hours.The role comes with a very competitive benefits package, including an enhanced pension and starting holiday days of 27 plus statutory holidays. You will also receive a car in a cost-efficient fashion.As a Field Engineer / Field Motor Engineer, you will be required to· attend body shops, repairers, affiliated garages, and occasionally car owner premises.· investigate damages,· validate estimates,· agree repair costs and time scales,· make decisions on damaged cars.As a Field Engineer / Field Motor EngineerYou will need to have a strong background in most vehicle repairs to be able to credibly evaluate and investigate others’ reports.
