Job Description

The Group provides grocery, merchandise, fuel and food service to consumers through partnerships with global brands including Starbucks, Subway, Spar, Greggs, KFC and Burger King.What will my role look like We are looking to recruit a Field IT Engineer to covert the South of the UK! In this role you will be required to provide preventative and reactive service maintenance and support to a range of equipment within our Fuel retail and food to go site.There will be occasional travel to sites that would require for you to stay over in a hotel for the night (EG will cover the expenses) this will be to enable you to complete an install or refit.Candidates must hold a full driver’s license and be willing to travel to our different sites across the south of England and possibly further if required to assist or cover for other engineers. We will provide a company vehicle, laptop and miscellaneous parts and equipment.What would my main responsibilities be

  • Visiting various sites across an area to repair / maintain POS equipment across all brands.
  • Removing and reinstalling POS equipment on refurbishment sites.
  • Installing new equipment and testing including network tests on new build sites.
  • Ensuring that the company Standardisation is adhered to at all times.
  • Fault diagnosis and reporting
  • Completion of planned preventative maintenance programs.
  • Assessment and reporting of accidental damage for costing purposes.
  • Carry out site surveys in order plan for safe installations.
  • Must be willing to go to all company branded sites to diagnose and repair when required
    • Do I have what it takes
  • Full driver’s license (Essential)
  • Knowledge of POS solutions (Preferable)
  • Able to install Network components with ease (termination of a RJ45)
  • Think outside of the box
  • Standard set of tools Inc. Cordless Drill etc.
  • SPA Passport (Advantage but not essential)
