You must be a patient, resilient candidate with a passion for what you do. You should have a good understanding of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, PMLD,SLD, Dyslexia, communication difficulties and physical disabilities. You do not need a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant qualification for this role, however experience working in a similar position is vital.The EYFS Teaching Assistant Role:As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be providing 1:1 support for a pre-school aged child with significant SEND. Because the child is young, the role will be physically demanding on occasion, so you must be prepared to move! You will be assisting with learningand wellbeing support, as well as providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their personal development.The School:The school is a lively mainstream primary school based in South Birmingham, in the ward of Yardley.
