Job Description

Executive Assistant to CEOThe Harborne Hospital, BirminghamFull time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 0900-1700Salary: up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experiencePermanentWe’re looking for an Executive Assistant to join our CEO’s office at The Harborne Hospital. This position will play a vital role in providing administrative support to the Executive Office.About the facility:The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital opening in Birmingham in 2023. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital will have the deepclinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery including roboticswith the latest Da Vinci XI. The Harborne Hospital is the 4th NHS partnership within this network, partnering with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust.Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life.   • Responsible for onboarding of new Consultants, ensuring all required documentation is received, and presented
  • Ensuring all Consultant credentials remain in date and compliant – sending weekly reminders regarding expiring/expired documents, uploading the renewed documents
  • Supporting the annual renewals of consultants practicing privileges
  • Supporting the management/administration of events as required – Consultant dinner/Charity Events/Annual Remembrance Service/Staff and Consultant Parties
  • Provide seamless admin support to the SMT at all times
  • To undertake any other administration duties as requested by the Executive Team, including supporting the management of any patient complaints
What you’ll bring:
  • Excellent general administrative skills with proven previous experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced IT skills and experience
  • Experience of minute taking preferred
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills with good spoken and written English
