Job Description

Events ManagerTamworth Based£30,000 to £35,000 Basic Salary + Company vehicle & Excellent Company BenefitsOur client is seeking a dynamic and enthusiasticEvents Managerto join our innovative marketing team. As an Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of our diverse portfolio of exhibitions, trade shows andevents across all of our brands.You will be responsible for ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed, captivating, and aligns with our European marketing strategy. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for creativity, excellent organisationalskills, and a keen eye for detail.Key Accountabilities:

  • Event Planning and Execution: Coordinate all aspects of exhibitions and events, from initial conception to post-event evaluation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event goals, themes, and content.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective event promotion strategies. Utilise various channels to drive attendance and create buzz around events, including social media, email campaigns, and partnerships.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to ROI. Track expenses, and seek opportunities for maximising budget.
  • Sponsorship and Partnership: Identify potential sponsors and partners for events. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, exhibitors, and suppliers to enhance the event experience and secure future opportunities.
  • On-Site Management: Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring smooth setup, registration, and attendee engagement. Handle any issues that may arise during events promptly and professionally.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to analyse the success of each event, gather feedback from attendees, and identify areas for improvement. Use insights to enhance future event planning and execution.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor events, and emerging technologies to continuously improve event offerings and remain competitive.
  • Supporting the Head of Marketing and wider Marketing teams across the Group
Experience required
  • Proven experience in Events planning and executing successful exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, or corporate events.
  • Bachelors degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Must be able to travel to trade shows, events, and exhibitions regularly across the UK,
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think outside the box.
