REED Property & Construction are working with an Education Trust to appoint a key role within their management team.The Estates & Facilities Manager with be part of the senior management team, holding a strategic and operational role, as well as line manager of site managers & teams at other locations.This is a varied role - main duties include (but not exclusively)• Strategic planning alongside other senior managers• Participation & attendance at strategic meetings, as well as those held by local authorities.• Management of all estates procedures, including compliance tohealth and safety requirements and regulations• To produce and undertake action plans in relation to Fire risk assessments, Asbestos and legionella management• Management ofmaintenance and improvement budgets• Management ofrisk assessments available for each location• Take part in recruitment, induction & training activities, where necessary.Although experience in an education setting is not essential - it would be a distinct advantage.The successful applicant will have facilties and/or estates experience and be able to demonstrate experienceof:Project management, Budget managementHealth & SafetyYou will have access to further training and development opportunities.Interviews will take place throught December 2020, with a start date of January 2021. You will be required to conduct an enhanced DBS as part of the process.
