Job Description

A leading property firm are looking to recruit a Head Of HR. The business has grown exponentially and now requires an experienced Level 3 HR professional.You will be working in state of the art offices for a forward thinking company who believe in investing in people and have created an amazing working environment where people are encouraged to work autonomously and to use their creativity. The company waslaunched in 2017 by creating an innovative, technology that empowers estate agents to facilitate their own sales. Emboldened by the company’s values, the small team behind the product creation grew.Responsibilities and skills

  • Hiring and onboarding new employees: This can include training, welcome packs, ensuring that new-hire documents such as payroll information are signed and integrating the employee into the team.
  • Payroll and benefits: Head of people role will also be involved in ensuring that payroll is completed on time and correctly, as well as handling new and leaving employees pay information.
  • Training and development: Whilst personal development and advice should come from a mentor or line manager, Head of people’ can be the central point for training courses, company wide initiatives to up-skill the business and promoting
  • Ensure adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload, often by using temping agencies
  • Carry out staff appraisals, manage performance and discipline staff.
  • Check that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data, and review and update policies.
  • Lead and deliver initiatives centred around enhancing the overall employee experience and employer brand.
  • Manage, motivate and develop company policies to ensure staff are supported.
