About UKHSAEnvironmental Public Health PractitionerSalary & Grade £29,160 - £35,612 Per annum HEO National Pay ScaleLocationBirminghamtype and term of contract: Permanent ContractFull TimeThe post holder, based within the dispersed chemical and environmental hazards team, will support the response to chemical & environmental hazard incidents and enquiries which threaten peoples health, through the provision of public health riskassessments. Such threats might involve chemical fires, chemical contamination of the environment, or the deliberate release of chemicals and poisons.The postholder will contribute to the development of evidence and provision of expert environmental public health advice, including public health responses to planning and environmental permit consultations.Location: This role will be based in BirminghamUKHSA offers hybrid working for its employeesAny opportunities for informal hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
