The Role:A vacancy exists for an individual with experience of coordinating events, networking and developing employer relationships, to join our Hired & Centre for Apprenticeship teams in the role of Employer Events Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for creatingand maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with stake-holders to support local employers and our students.For the successful candidate, duties will include: providing a first point of contact for employers; successfully engaging with employers to generate involvement in student employment activities; creating new business leads through adopting a proactive approachand working closely with academic departments across the two University College Birmingham Schools and the Apprenticeship team to source and develop apprenticeships, placements and graduate employment opportunities.Candidate Requirements:In addition to the required events experience, you will also demonstrate an ability to communicate at all levels utilising a range of tools including social media, confidence in multi-tasking and managing a challenging case load, IT proficiency and a soundknowledge of relevant labour market trends.The post-holder will be enthusiastic about opportunities for further professional development and willing to gain a deeper understanding of the UCB vocational curriculum offer, which will support the effective performance of this role.Benefits:
