Electrical Engineers who have experience working in heavier industries such as metal works, steel works/steelprocessing facilities, foundries or brickworks are encouraged to apply. The successful electrical maintenance engineer will ideally be apprentice trained, time served or equivalent. 18th Edition will be advantageous.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for purely electrical maintenance within a large manufacturing facility. You will carry out both reactive and pre-planned electrical maintenance on a wide range of heavy production machinery.You will typically work on Induction furnaces, Automated Casting lines, Milling, Rolling, Annealing, Pickling and Slitting lines, conveyors, pump systems, AC DC motors, contactors, relays, switches, sensors, solenoids, distribution boards, inverters, and overheadcranes. PLC work will predominantly be on Allan Bradley.This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a role where you have the ability to work on a wide range of machinery, where no two shifts will be the same.
