ED&I Specialist12 months fixed term contractRemoteUK Based£55-60,000 + Bonus & BenefitsNetwork HR have partnered exclusively with a large Distribution business based across the UK for the hire of an experienced Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is remote working so you can be based anywherein the UK. Reporting into the HR Director of their COE, you will lead the design, delivery and monitoring of the organisations Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy, to drive positive change with their people, customers, community and shareholders/regulators.You will have a vast amount of exposure with all levels of stakeholders across the business including the Executive Board so the ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and will be able to build rapport and relationships quickly. Other duties willinclude: Partnering with HR specialists and other key functions e.g., Communications, Facilities, Procurement, business leaders and other relevant stakeholders to develop solutions to support key business D&I challenges & opportunities Working with the Executive Committee and leadership across the business to develop internal & external engagement plans to help position them as an employer of choice and positively impact the organisations reputation around D&I Collaborating with Organisational Development, Recruitment and the wider HR Team to ensure appropriate analytics and D&I insights are in place and being utilised to support and encourage diverse and inclusive hiring, learning, progression and retention Developing evidence-based initiatives for D&I with clear and transparent actions, measures and reporting Partnering with key external organisations to support the D&I strategy Overseeing programme of work weaving D&I principles into all content across the employee lifecycle Co-ordinating employee-led employee resource groups and communities to ensure alignment with the D&I strategy Tracking and benchmarking D&I performance both internally and with key external organisations Establishing the business as a thought leader supporting Government and external bodies to drive positive change in the UK You will engage and operate across the organisations people plans, ensuring and steering investment in appropriate development and initiatives and informing strategic moves Develop skills, knowledge and confidence to encourage and affect the necessary change to deliver the desired business outcomes Share internal and external business and commercial knowledge across the wider People teams to provide best practice advice.The successful candidate will hold the below experience and knowledge: Resilient and tenacious self-starter, with focus on influencing leaders across a business Connected to external D&I best practice and thought leadership, with the ability to summarise complex information in an easy-to-understand way Advanced strategy development and project management skills - a track record of translating business objectives and needs into solutions through appropriately developing plans, setting objectives, deadlines, cost management, quality and project managementbest practices Understanding of data and systems, with the ability to draw compelling insights from data analysis Excellent written/verbal communications and presentation skills to a wide range of internal and external audiences, including executive level, with employee communications and media savvy Experience of governance and reporting frameworks/requirements If you feel that this opportunity is of interest, then please share an updated cv with or apply via the link.
