Software Engineer, .NET Developer, C#, MVC, SQL, JavaScriptMy client are a Microsoft Software House who, due to continued success, are now looking to expand their software development team in their new Birmingham office. They are currently looking for a talented Software Engineer/ .NET Developer(C#, MVC, SQL, ASP.NET) to join their team, offering a great work-life balance including some remote work. The new Software Engineer will play a key part in developing innovative develop cutting-edge products for various public and private sector clients. The Software Engineer will have the chance to work with a variety of modern technologies including the Microsoft .NET Stack including ASP.NET, C# and SQL. As well as gain valuable training and qualifications.The new Software Engineer will be working on exciting projects for STEM clients developing custom object-oriented software. As a part of a dedicated team you will also be involved in devising specific requirements and implementation plans for vital projects. If you have experience as a Software Developer and have experience with C#, ASP.NET, Java, MVC, JavaScript or jQuery then this Software Engineer role could be for you. My client are passionate about technology and about creating state-of-the-art software solutions who are now looking for like-minded individuals who enjoy working with large datasets.This exciting Software Engineer role offers you the opportunity to gain experience with the following:

  • C#, ASP.NET - MVC, Web API
  • Building (and designing) software applications from scratch
  • Applying OOP coding principles and design patterns
  • Designing and delivering software in highly technical teams
  • SQL Server
  • Mobile app development: web, iOS and Android, Xamarin
  • Entity Framework
  • HTML5 and CSS3
  • Building for accessibility
  • JavaScript and its libraries, especially React
  • Exposure to Python, Java, C++ would be beneficial.
    • As well as a strong technical background in backend .NET development, the Software Engineer will require a positive attitude.
