Job Description

Robert Walters is working in partnership with a market leading 3PL specialist. They are industry leaders in providing an array of services across distribution, manufacturing and warehousing. They embrace modern edge technology across WMS, IT infrastructureand leading edge satellite tracking systems to provide an unique unmatched customer experience. Due to significant investment across group and a series of large-scale acquisitions, they are now expanding their technology offering.As such, they are keen to appoint an experienced Director of IT Strategy and Architecture, paying a salary range up to £125,000 to £145,000 plus car, bonus and an extensive benefits package.As Director of IT Strategy and Architecture, will report into the Group CIO, working with the architecture function across; InfoSec & Risk, Operations and PMO. You will develop and maintain the IT strategy roadmap for group, whilst defining Enterprise Architectureprinciples. Additional group duties will require you to lead technology innovation efforts.Director of IT Strategy and Architecture - Responsibilities

  • Formulate/Own IT strategy and change plans
  • Develop/Lead enterprise architecture, roadmaps and governance frameworks
  • Evaluate/Design/Deliver solutions around strategy using new technologies
  • Oversee new capabilities for technology solutions architecture
  • Develop integrated roadmap of change
  • Drive strategic planning and budgeting
  • Development of enterprise architecture
  • Review current portfolio of information, systems and technologies. To exploit available innovations
  • Act as champion for technology innovation
  • Establish architecture standards across apps, platforms, security, data, mobile apps
  • Qualification - TOGAF, Zachman
