Job Description

My client is a dynamic and progressive nationally recognised wealth management organisation, who focus on the importance of financial planning, not just financial advice. Ensuring their customers are confident in the advice they provide is essential andthey never take for granted the privileged position this puts them in. As a rapidly growing organisation they currently have an opportunity based in Birmingham for a Digital Marketing Executive, to join their expanding team.This position will be supporting the team in developing and delivering digital marketing initiatives that meet the goals and KPIs of my clients marketing strategy and plans. You will have core day to day responsibility for all aspects of digital marketingincluding the website, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay-per-click (PPC), digital advertising, and social media.Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the ongoing development of group websites working with appropriate external digital specialists and partners to ensure secure and stable hosting, fast performance and optimised client experience
  • Managing the ongoing design of the websites structure and associated content appropriately to meet the marketing objectives and strategy
  • Working with the rest of the marketing team and other stakeholders maintain content on the websites on a daily/weekly basis to ensure it is fresh and relevant to visitors and builds SEO performance.
  • Manage content onto the website to support any marketing initiatives or campaigns, working collaboratively across the team.
  • Manage the website as lead generation channel optimising calls to action and lead data capture in the easiest and most intuitive way for clients
  • Managing all social media channels ensuring a relevant presence and daily/weekly content feed from a corporate and campaign perspective supporting our corporate PR and marketing campaign activity
  • Providing social media training and support to the wider marketing team and to anyone across the business where relevant
  • Executing email marketing campaigns on behalf of or guiding other Marketing colleagues by setting email marketing objectives, executing (including content development and email presentation) and distribution through email marketing provider
  • Managing the email marketing account with providers (eg Dotdigital).
  • Ensuring that all that all digital activities comply with regulatory compliance requirements and follow the Treating the Customers Fairly principles laid out by the FCA.
Experience / Skills Required needed by the Digital Marketing Executive:-
  • At least 3 years digital marketing experience
  • Website management and maintenance experience
  • SEO and PPC experience and able to report results
  • Email- marketing campaigns execution experience
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills
  • Copywriting skills with the ability to write engaging content for SEO purpose
  • The ability to interpret data and create strategies for improvement as a result
  • The ability to write coherent reports and presentations suitable for non-technical audiences
  • Creative thinker able to come up with fresh and innovative ideas
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the team to implement campaigns through all channels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workloads
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Results-driven with a motivation to see initiatives through to completion and report with MI.
The Digital Marketing Executive will receive the following attractive renumeration package.
  • Basic salary £30,000
  • Death in Service (DIS) 4 x Salary
  • Private Medical Cover (PMI)MHD - including optical & dental
  • Group Income Protection (GIP/PHI) 75% of salary / 26-week deferred period
  • Critical Illness Cover (CIC) £10k Benefit
  • Pension 5% Employee / 7% employer
