Job Description

Closing Date: 05/07/2022UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK is 10 major multi-disciplinary creative projects taking place across the UK in 2022, designed to reach millions and bring people together. The result of collaboration across science, technology, engineering, arts and maths, UNBOXEDincludes hundreds of free large-scale events and digital experiences, at locations from the Outer Hebrides to Southampton and from Omagh to Swansea, and on traditional and online media.UNBOXED is looking for someone who has at least one years experience in delivering digital marketing and is looking to develop their digital marketing skills. If you thrive on working in a busy marketing department, can hit the ground running and would liketo work on one of the most significant creative programmes in a generation this is the role for you. You will bring knowledge and experience of working with website content management systems (preferably Drupal), email marketing platforms (DotDigital or similar) and CRM systems (preferably SalesForce) to deliver integrated digital marketing campaigns.You will be skilled in all aspects of the delivery of email campaigns - including design, content gathering, scheduling, data segmentation for targeted campaigns, copywriting, automation and reporting. And adept at using content management systems to updateand upload website content.Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, tracking and reporting of all UNBOXEDs email campaign activity
  • Use the CRM (Salesforce) for extracting data and sending targeted email campaigns
  • Ensure the consistent and accurate use of the UNBOXED brand within guidelines.
  • Source content - including copy, images and film - and clear rights for use.
  • Seek out relevant insights and research to support with the evaluation and optimisation of UNBOXEDs email campaigns and website performance
  • Use evaluation data to improve the performance of future digital activity to meet UNBOXEDs overall objectives
  • Help ensure marketing activity is responsive to and reflects our diverse audiences.
Skills and Experience RequiredEssential
  • At least one years digital marketing experience gained in-house or agency.
  • Creative, proactive and delivery focused.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience of working with Content Management Systems (Drupal preferred).
  • Experience of using email marketing systems (Dotdigital preferred).
  • Excellent ICT skills, including Word / Excel.
Desirable
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Interest in arts and culture.
  • Understanding of email marketing best-practice
  • Experience of working on cultural projects or events.
  • Experience of working with creative and marketing agencies
