Data Security Adoption and Training Specialist / IT Trainer / Security Awareness Lead - Data Security Training Campaigns, IT & Security Training, GDPR, (HIPAA, FCRA etc), ISO27001; Security Training Materials, Security Programme Management. Permanent, Birmingham/ Remote (Hybrid Working). £80k - £85k +Benefits Data Security Adoption and Training Specialist required by global law firm to lead the development of data security training campaigns and delivery of training from a programme management perspective which will require the engagement of internal training resourcesand external training providers (both content providers and delivery companies). The successful candidate will be the individual responsible for identifying data security and IT security / InfoSec training needs within the various departments on a global basis. Through your understanding of data security legislations such as GDPR, HIPAA,FCRA and other regional frameworks in LATAM, ASIAPAC and the USA you will identify needs, assess what training processes and content are in place and devise and oversee the rollout of IT security programmes across the business landscape. You may undertakesome elements of training yourself but this is NOT an IT Trainer role; you will be an IT security awareness and adoption specialist with an ability to raise the data security and infosec capabilities of teams of business personnel within a global businessenvironment. To deliver these programmes and campaigns you will need to create security awareness and adoption content and training programmes which you will do through the management of internal and external resources, as we as from your own hand (so to speak). You willalso identify and instigate new initiatives as the InfoSec landscape adapts and changes. We are searching for a Data Security Adoption Consultant / InfoSec Training Consultant / IT Security Awareness Lead who has a background in IT Training combined with a solid understanding of data privacy laws, legislation and the application of IT securityprocesses and practices within a corporate business environment. You will be able to engage with business leaders, stakeholders and users and achieve buy-in to the worth and importance of IT and date security processes. You will have a strong understandingof core data security frameworks such as GDPR and may possibility hold a CISM or CISSP but this is NOT essential. You will however be well organised and possess exceptional communication skills.
