Job Description

Data Scientist - Fully Remote My client seeks an experienced Data Scientist to support with building infrastructure and architecture for data science model design and deployment for a road traffic management solution to achieve a complete data science model against digital twin for the graph network base eco-system.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop clean, efficient, maintainable and extendable data science with machine learning
  • Perform code reviews and conduct unit testing to ensure standards are understood and being followed
  • Utilise your experience of graphic network design to query a digital twin
  • Use your experience and initiative to suggest appropriate approaches, methods and technologies to use for data science with machine learning
  • Collaborating with the other members of the Scrum Team to develop a seamless solution
  • Effectively communicating with the wider IT team and key stakeholders
  • Deliver a complete data science with machine learning solution
    • Essential Skills
  • 5+ years data science with machine learning
  • An excellent understanding of the data processing capability of Azure Cloud.
  • At least 2yrs experience of working within a Scrum team
  • Demonstrable experience of data science with machine learning development
  • Demonstrable experience of graph networks and graph theory models
  • Solid experience of design and development of separately deployable micro services
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL and Azure Functions
  • Experience of using Git source control
  • Experience of unit-testing frameworks, service level unit and integration testing
  • Experience of using Microsoft Azure DevOps, build pipelines, release management etc.
  • CI/CD build tooling and testing utilities
  • Experience developing and integrating a range of data processing services
  • Ability to apply advanced debugging techniques
  • Understanding of how to build data processing pipelines to be secure and responsive by design
  • Clear ability to technically mentor, improve & inspire others as the team grows
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, and digital twin services used in the system
  • Strong customer focus, business knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Ability to develop effective working partnerships with internal (other Scrum Teams) and external teams
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Highly developed communication skills and proven ability to communicate clearly with other members of the Delivery Team
  • Having a good eye for detail
