Job Description

DATA MANAGER MILTON KEYNES£50,000-£60,000 +BONUS +BENEFITSTHE COMPANYThis company is one of the leading e-commerce businesses in their space. They have a huge customer audience with over 10 million customers on their database. They are a hugely data-driven business that are putting data into the heart of every decision.THE ROLEAs Data Manager, you will be managing the data throughout the business and be the go to data person for Management and Governance. Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Work cross-functionally with Analytics, IT, Operation and Compliance to identify who is the best data owner within these spaces.
  • Clean and sort the full data system so redefining data processes, glossary, single source of truth etc.
  • Take full ownership on this and work with C-suite to get them onboard with governance and management to be able to drive this forward within the business.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEA successful Data Manager will have:
  • Background in Data Management/Governance is required.
  • If you have been a Project Manager and experience working on multiple projects at one time that would be beneficial.
  • No specific technical experience required as they arent currently using any particular tools.
  • The majority of the role is stakeholder engagement so excellent communication skills is a must.
